I provide quality music lessons by incorporating a variety of teaching methods, activities and technology. My teaching philosophy is focused on creating dedicated music students with a life-long love of music.
Lessons are conducted at my Studio, or on-line, or for an additional travel fee per lesson, I can bring the lesson to the comfort of your home. Please contact me if you would like to know if your neighborhood fits this description.
All students receive a comprehensive musical training that is adapted to each individual’s ability, personality, and interests. Students will learn note reading, ear training, music theory, technique, and performance skills while being in a positive and supportive environment. Ultimately, I hope to foster excellence and a love for music for all my students.
While I teach with a classical focus, I also introduce music from other genres to engage my students’ interests. It is important that students receive a formal, well-rounded musical education while they explore and have fun.
My lessons offer an emphasis on both music literacy and artistry, from the very beginning. My students, both children and adults, become confident music readers. They also develop creative, emotional ideas about their music, whether they are working on a beginning piano piece or a complex operatic aria.
